Simple Song Sheets (Loop These)

These are “practice songs” — short chord loops with an easy strum. Play each chord for 4 beats unless noted. Use Practice Mode above to highlight the next chord automatically.

Strumming starter: try Down Down Up Up Down Up slowly. If that’s too hard, start with Down Down Down Down (one per beat).

10-Minute Daily Routine

  1. 1 min: Warm-up: slow downstrokes on open strings.
  2. 3 min: Two-chord switches (4 beats each), clean and relaxed.
  3. 3 min: Song sheet loop (choose one below).
  4. 2 min: Add the strum DDUUDU slowly.
  5. 1 min: Free play—make it musical.

Common Problems

  • Buzzing: fingertip too far from fret, or touching neighbor string.
  • Muted strings: do the string-by-string test and adjust only one finger at a time.
  • Slow changes: practice “shape → lift 1mm → return” for 10 reps.
  • Hand fatigue: lighten grip; don’t clamp the neck with the thumb.

Steel-string acoustic hurting? A basic guitar setup (lower action) can make learning way easier.
